Small pod, serious heat, and one of the few Zambian crops that a smallholder can grow on half a hectare and still sell into an export market.

Who we are

Farming that pays the farmer properly

Mucha Greenfields was set up in April 2025 by a young entrepreneur from Luapula Province who was tired of watching good chili rot because nobody turned up to buy it.

We work the other way round. A farmer joins the out-grower programme, gets trained, gets field visits through the season, and knows before planting who is buying the harvest and roughly what it pays.

The Chili Drying and Trading Centre going up in Lusaka CBD will handle aggregation, grading and export packing under one roof.

Our products

What we sell

Chili in the form you need it, plus the inputs our farmers use to grow it. Prices move with the season, so treat these as a starting point rather than a quote.

Buying in bulk

Ordering 50kg or more, or setting up a repeat supply line. Fill in a purchase request and our trading desk comes back to you inside 48 hours with availability, grading and a firm price.

No account needed. You get a reference number.

Buying a small amount

Under 50kg, a one off bag, or you just want to ask a question first. Message us on WhatsApp and someone will answer you directly. That is faster than any form.

What we do

From seed to sealed bag

Six parts of the business, all pointing the same direction.

Production and aggregation

Nursery setup, field management and harvest timing, with our officers walking the plots so problems get caught early rather than at collection.

Out-grower scheme

Certified inputs, season long support and a guaranteed buyer at a price agreed up front. Farmers plant knowing where the crop is going.

Processing and value addition

Drying, grading and packing into dried whole pods, crushed flakes or milled powder, depending on what the buyer actually needs.

Input supply

Seed, Eco Super Grow foliar feed, NPK and registered crop protection, sold at prices smallholders can actually reach.

Trading and market access

Standing relationships with local traders, regional exporters and spice houses that want Zambian chili with paperwork behind it.

Training

Paid one day programmes covering seed choice, nursery, spacing, spraying, drying and where to sell. Open to anyone, not just our farmers.

How it fits together

One chain, five links

Nothing here is outsourced to a middleman we cannot reach on the phone.
